CricAI uses a multi-factor AI scoring model trained on historical IPL data. For each match, the model generates a performance score for every available player by combining six key signals:

  • Recent form — Last 5 innings performance, weighted by how recent each innings was
  • Venue performance — Player's historical stats at the specific IPL stadium
  • Head-to-head matchups — Batter vs opposing bowlers and vice versa
  • Pitch and conditions — Whether the surface favours batters, spinners, or pacers
  • Team role balance — Ensures the final XI satisfies fantasy platform constraints
  • Playing XI confirmation — After the toss, only confirmed players are included in recommendations
